Thermoformed cups
Custom-moulded portion cups with peel-off film lids for food and cosmetics. Single or separate compartments, filling and print design developed by Snappax.

Pack structure and opening
Thermoforming shapes a cup body using a mould. The filled cavity is closed with a lidding film, which is peeled away to access the product.
The outer contour and cavity layout can be developed for the project. A shaped cup remains a peel-open cup; its opening method differs from a fold-to-open card or a break-tip ampoule.
Food and cosmetic applications
The same cup shape can be used to explore different fillings, while one product can be presented in different moulded shapes.
Food
Honey, ketchup, mustard, other sauces and spreads are example applications. The portion size and the way the product will be used guide cup and lid selection.
Cosmetics
Creams, masks and cleansing gels are example applications. Formula compatibility and the intended sample or single-use presentation guide material selection.
Project parameters
Single-cavity and multi-compartment layouts can be considered. Separate cavities may present different products in one pack, such as four sauces or four skincare products.
Each cavity, its sealing area and its target fill quantity are defined before sample approval. The project scope also covers film, artwork and production quantity.

- Separate filling quantities and sealing areas

Questions about this format
Can one tray contain several different products?
Yes. Separate compartments can be planned for different fillings, including a four-compartment layout. The cavity arrangement and filling specification are evaluated for the project.
Does a particular shape require a particular filling?
No. The same moulded shape can be evaluated for food or cosmetic products. The filling and material specification are selected around the product.
